99 Thais safely evacuated from Ukraine to Poland and Romania

The Thai embassy in Warsaw, Poland, arranged the safe evacuation of 99 Thai nationals from Ukraine yesterday (Sunday) and is making arrangements to evacuate those who are still in the country, according to the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

 

The ministry said that 60 Thais were evacuated from Lviv to Warsaw and another 39 were evacuated from Ukraine’s port city of Odessa, on the Black Sea, to the Romanian capital of Bucharest on the same day.

 

Thai embassy officials in Bucharest will be taking care of them until they are repatriated to Thailand.

If they are married to Ukrainian men, the men are not allowed to leave Ukraine if of conscription age. Rightly so too.

I wonder how many Thai women are fighting side by side for Ukraine with their men?

Already stated in different article that most were students or employed as massage therapists.
