6 Policemen, Reporters in Tangmo Case Have COVID

NONTHABURI, Feb 3 (TNA) – Four policemen and two reporters tested positive for COVID-19 after their coverage of the death of actress Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong and about 10 other people were at risk and already quarantined.

Final three defendants in Thailand’s zero-dollar tourism case acquitted

The Thai Supreme Court acquitted 3 people today (Thursday), who were among 13 accused of involvement in the zero-dollar tourism scam exposed in Thailand almost six years ago, due to a lack of evidence that their activities caused damage to the tourism industry and were criminal.

Thailand’s daily COVID-19 cases forecast to reach 40,000-50,000 in mid-April

Thailand’s daily COVID-19 cases, confirmed by RT-PCR tests, are forecast by the Diseases Control Department to reach 40,000-50,000 cases in mid-April and may reach 100,000 if existing restrictions are further eased, according to the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) today (Thursday).
