Popular Post bobandyson
Luckily they were not all crammed into the cab. Otherwise they all could have been fined for not wearing seat belts. ???? 3 1
Popular Post Moonlover
They crammed this lot plus 8 people into the back of this decrepit pick up and when a tyre bursts the driver says 'it wasn't my fault, it was the wheel!' Nah, only the poor workers, not to worry It is illegal as far as I know (after all the yo-yos), but whether something is illegal or not has no relevance in Thailand. No-one cares. Those driving the pickup don't care, those in the back don't care, the police don't care. And those who die or are injured are Thais as well as immigrant workers. Still, no-one cares. In Thailand no-one cares about anything. Except money and face. Especially face.

Pure callousness on the part of the driver.

When all along it's the police's fault. They'll fine anyone not wearing seatbelts in the cab, but they'll happily wave on as many as 20 piled onto the back when at a checkpoint. Well in a way he is, but often just a minion doing as he was told. One has to look a little higher up the food-chain.
