Typical recipe of mayo is: 1 egg, a couple tablespoons of various things like vinegar, lemon juice, etc.... and 1 CUP of oil... basically Mayo is 95%+ OIL... and one teaspoon of highly processed oil is around 100ish calories... Cheese is more like 25% to 33% fat content... so cheese is much better than mayo.... Not particularly the most healthy part of a sandwich, but then it all comes down to your entire diet and eating in moderation.- 1
