Top Muay Thai boxer Sombat Banchamek - better known as Buakhao - now an army lieutenant, was invited as the lecturer for training at the Hanuman Guardian 2022 exercises at the Erawan Fort in Lopburi.

He showed US and Thai servicemen the theory and practice of the Thai martial art known as Muay Thai or Thai Boxing.

Thai Rath reported that the pro's expert guidance was well received by the keen participants during the training.

Hanuman Guardin 2022 runs from February 11th to March 24th this year with yesterday's Muay Thai training clearly one of the highlights for the soldiers.

He hasn't officially retired, yet, as far as I know, although it'd be well deserved. He's been in the business long enough already.
