I retired very early and have been traveling around a lot, but have got to the point where I wouldn't mind settling somewhere for a few years. At the same time I have a chance to do a small amount of remote work (5-10 hrs / week) at a decent rate of pay for the effort (about $35k pa). This would start next year and could be done through an LLC as long as it's formed in time.

I think it's possible for a foreigner to start an LLC in Vietnam, and then fairly straightforward to get a visa as the business owner - but is there any kind of minimum business income they want to see for the visa? Is there anyone here who's been down this route and knows the pitfalls?
