I’d love to see future forward win, but if not I’d take her. I found living under the Thaskin rule quite good. Yeah he had his pockets lined and a few other issues, but at least he welcomed foreigners. Anything is better than this lot of fools.

additional information

Thaskin allowed long term visas to foreigners with at least a 3 million or 3 1/2 million baht investment in Thai property. He wanted foreigners to come and stay. He was a businessman and was much more welcoming to us. He seemed to try at least.

Brilliant.....she is just what this country needs as a leader! She's learnt how to be corrupt....she's smart (well..educated in the UK..is that good?), can't speak Engrish well...she not hard on the eye...and has an iPhone 13....what else does a leader need?

Not impossible but actually high possibility judging from people sentiments on suitable prime minister candidate. She has been featured quite prominently in poll garnering close second to K Pita of MFP and not far from Prayut who is sinking like a rock in popularity each day. Even K Sudarat was a distant 4th favourite and the rest of the field for possibly prime minister like Anutin (BJP) and Jurin (DP) were almost non existence. K Pita will have a problem getting the rural support away from Ing. Those yellow shirts have lost their cause and a spent force. It's her to take unless the military snatched democracy out of the grips of the people again.

Are there any honest politicians in any country in the world? I cannot speak for other countries, but not in my lifetime has there been any honest decent politicians in any of the two major parties in the UK. They have all been lying hypocrites, some worse than others.

You exagerate , there are many honest , unheralded MP's in the UK. 

Regardless of their policies , the likes of Tony Benn and Ken Clarke , for example , could hardly be described as liars or hypocrites.

I think the young Thais are looking for someone different and a different party.  

 

Pheu Thai will last until the old farmers stop voting then they will also die off.

Remember they did not do that well in the last election. 

They need to revamp and get away from the Shinawattra dome.  They need to clear the party of the old guard to be effective

I remember as a young teenager Tony Benn wrote a weekly column in the Scottish Daily Record critising people for taking time of work for having a bad back. In those days people only got a two week paid holiday in a year plus extra days at Christmas and New year, while Benn got 3 months paid holiday a year as an MP. So he cannot be described as a hypocrite??
