Thai Rath reported on a CCIB (special tech task force) police raid at a condo in Hat Yai in the far south of Thailand.

 

Around half of all the rooms on the 10th floor of the downtown building was being used to run the www.euro97.com gambling site, one of the biggest in Thailand.

 

Seventeen admin staff have so far been arrested along with three admitting to opening accounts.

Dozens of desktop and notebook computers were seized.

 

The site does betting business in football as well as slots and baccarat.

 

Now the police are aiming to go after the bigger fish behind the operation.
