Never ones to miss a trick to show how well Thailand's parks are doing these days, the authority had a doozy for their video annals.

It featured an are near the Phetch River in Kaeng Krachan national park in Phetchaburi.

A secret field camera by the river caught the moment that a rare freshwater crocodile came out - apparently to wonder at the show of hundreds of butterflies that had gathered at the spot, reported Thai PBS.

The croc seems bemused in the 30 second video leading the PR staff to wax lyrical about the current beauty of their park perhaps beguiling the large reptile.

So good is the ecosystem that an increasing number of freshwater crocs are in the area where they can't but help enjoy the thriving park!
