Never posted here in ten years.. hope this the correct place.

 

My dad is coming back to Bangkok around April 14 with his O visa and reentry permit. He says he don't need a PCR or anything else to enter but that doesn't seem correct to me.

 

I really gave the the embassy website a good look and found sand box and other stuff related to departure.. but Im trying to find what exactly he needs cause I think he is getting bad advice from a friend in Pattaya. 

 

He might require a PCR from his transit country.. will look now but that's the easy part.

He doesn't need a pre-flight test (unless the transit country requires it), but he needs to apply for a Thai Pass. There are a few options depending on where he arrives and if he's vaccinated. The fastest one is test & go, which is one night quarantine and PCR on arrival. Check the Thai Pass site to see what his options are.
