and see that's where discussions can be had.. look no further than the US "friendship" with dictator states(the Saudia gov would be an easy one to point at). At issue is not that Governments take actions for their own safety and prosperity at the expense of others... i mean usa does that every day of the week. its about how Putins current actions are so far past the pale that he is a war criminal and the world needs to come together to stop him.

 

Saanim that's where you are in the wrong. If we attempt to place your posting in good faith then you can only be ignorant and since you able to post, and are not blocked, then you have access to information that easily shows Putin is in the wrong.

To be clear here, Russian citizens are, as a group, not to blame. Many factors have led the average citizen to think Russia's (Putin's) actions are in the right. There is no upside to paining this issue with a broad brush stroke. You lost any ground you had when you put your argument in this fashion.

It's Ukraine. The only official language should be Ukrainian. Russian speakers are permitted to speak Russian. Show evidence that "international human organisations" have criticised Ukraine.

 

Just to put it in context, Singapore mandates English as the medium of teaching in schools and universities. Other languages are taught as secondary languages.

 

Ukrainians hate Russia, why should they teach Russian?

Eight million ethnic Russians in Ukraine, and Russian 2014 Donbass invasion, dictate legal Russian “minority language” status in those ethnic southern & eastern areas, behind Ukrainian.

Ukrainian Russian Language, Ethnicity &Voting Maps are Identical.  
Clearly Ukraine should have been Partitioned in line with these Maps pre- independence ! 
 

Several Mandated Official Dual Language Countries in West where both ethnic populations substantially detest each other. Belgium & Canada for example but they prefer national unity over separatism. USA not far away either.

Plenty of Norwegian & British Gas and Nuclear Power potentially available for Free Europe.
 

Dumb Green Energy Policies only now being reversed to remove all energy dependence on Russia.
