Rescue workers called to the Sarika area of Nakhon Nayok in central Thailand yesterday afternoon/evening spent an hour searching for a missing 15 year old girl.

 

The teen was washed away by a surprise flow of water while using rubber rings with relatives.

One male managed to get to safety but the girl did not and was eventually found further downriver on a midriver bank, reported Daily News. 

 

She had not been wearing a life jacket.
