casing to make sausages

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm wanting to make my own dried meats like Saucisson, nudja etc, I have all I need except the casing to do the sausages. Does anyone know where I could get some? I've looked on Lazada but can only find some from abroad which seems a bit wierd..

Thanks ????

As far as I can see Ubuy is some sort of scam site.

Maybe you are right.  I often shop at Lazada, AliExpress, and Shopee.  From olive oil, motorcycle or car parts and  tools.  I have never had a problem, except for some delay of items from China.  I have never tried in Ubuy.. but thanks for your advice.

I would check out YOK on the Superhighway. They seem to stock just about everything one needs for commercial cooking supplies.

Nice place ????

Looks very, very good! More than likely too technical for me but are they pork and herbs?

Yea, P&H, something like that, and spicy.  The only technical part, is getting in the casing, which is actually quite easy.  Hardest, cleaning the casing, that's relative.

Myself, haven't the patience.  Leave the sausages (cased) to the wife.  I'll just make sausage patties when wanting.  Much better & cheaper than store bought.

Makro casings are frozen, or the ones I saw were and a ridiculous price. 300 baht? Most of the local markets here sell them as the Thai themselves make Isaan sausages. Just go and ask a few of the pork sellers. They keep in your fridge salted for over a year
