Wrong! I bought two jars in Tops Supermarket at Westgate that are being recalled.

I saw that yesterday they are on sale for 70 baht less.

Coincidence, or they know about the recall and are trying to get rid of them?

The JIF I bought at Makro is within this recall group. I have eaten about half of it but think I will throw the other half away.

Also get my large JIF jar from Makro.

Dodged death again ... covid, monkeypox, now JIFitis ... what next ????

The key is the lot code number - found below the expiration date.

Quote

lot code numbers between 1274425 – 2140425, only if the first seven digits end with 425 (manufactured in Lexington, KY).

Have a jar and a half. Not bothered to check. Anyone that has eaten street food here should not worry about peanut butter. You should be immune to everything

An extreme blase attitude in my opinion - and I suspect there is more danger in eating at inside restaurants where you don't see the preparation and servings are often less than warm.  Unless your street food is sushi perhaps.
