I think masks on public transport, and that's it.

Actually better quality masks are useful for self protection. You're spouting dated dogma.

'Actually' ..... very few people will wear a properly fitted N95 or better mask in Thai heat.  But feel free to spout your wisdom to the uneducated masses.

Fit is an issue especially with N95s. I see many people wearing what look like better quality masks here but of course impossible to know if genuine by appearance. I personally upgraded my mask game when Omicron started which was official mainstream advice. I was talking about self protection with these better masks. They can help with that. To be clear I think Thailand should end outdoor mask requirements but keep them for public indoor spaces.
