Mui Ne beach

Mui Ne is the perfect place for a beach getaway even from Ho Chi Minh City, as it’s only about five hours (212kms) away by bus/van/train.

This is the Vietnamese capital of kitesurfing and surfing, and many come here to train/teach and enjoy the chilled-out vibe.

It’s affordable and offers great food.

Mũi Né is a beach resort town along the sea in Southeast Vietnam.

With a long, palm-lined stretch of sand, it has steady wind conditions (in the dry season) that make it a top destination for windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and other water sports.

Desert in Vietnam

Mui Ne also has some incredible sand dunes and is known as the Desert in Vietnam.

Here they rent out private Jeeps at around US$23.

Definitely do the sunrise tour if you get the chance.

Its an amazing experience.

Sand is incredibly smooth and soft making it ideal to jump into and slide on.

The river walk is also amazing and allows for great views of amazing terrain.

Personal suggestion, try some of the rolled ice creams some of the local vendors sell when walking near the river.... .absolutely delicious

Mui Ne is also a popular weekend getaway from Ho Chi Minh City, with a busy strip of hotels, restaurants and shops.
