I come here to checked if it's really fully legal and it seems confirmed, but why I se everywhere idiots telling that it's only plants with 0.2 % ? Is it so complicated for them to understand or are they proud to make themselves stupid ? Thank you ! I did the same as you. To be fair, anybody who has lived here long enough knows that the authorities are seldom clear in their proclamations and often backslide on them. The 0.2% thing seemed a reasonable position if the idea was to keep people from getting high. To my bewilderment though, it seems that they only want to regulate precisely the few ways you CANNOT get high and let the devil take the hindmost. "It's OK to gorge yourself on cookies, just don't take them from the jar." In my book this is a win. In any event, there is no easy way backwards now.

Maybe for those who look like white trash, or are very clueless/disrespectful/all of the above? Even Thai youth will tell you that their trendy tattoos are nothing but a red flag to Sarge Joe Crewcut of the RTP. Not disputing it doesn't happen. But it hasn't happened to me in 35 years of playing up! Basically, it's just "bad for business" on the street. Criminals, uniformed and otherwise, are in business like everyone else, and shakedowns are unsustainable as a business model. Besides, there's nothing to stop them planting drugs on any random tourist, but they don't, do they? Unless someone riles them! My belief, born from my own trouble-free experience is shakedown victims have somehow "asked for it". It makes no sense otherwise to shakedown random buyers, if you're on the take, think it through. Far far better for them to just run protection rackets. Which they do. Because if they didn't, we wouldn't be able to buy bongs, meth pipes, jet lighters, porn, erectile meds, and sex toys, poppers, and even streetwalkers on Sukhumvit, without being the victim of a shakedown as well! I used to buy my weed from a coppers son, I met him thru my resourceful and charismatic other half, we weren't shook down, they even went so far as to provide a plain clothes escort to avoid the roadblocks going from the ganga party back to our hotel in the city we would visit to buy the weed! I guess like everywhere, it's who you know? My decades old own "tourist" strategy, was to give my rent-girl a generous tip to act as the buyer on my behalf. They never skipped with the cash, not once! Rapport and respect matters, even on the street! Edited June 13, 2022 by chalawaan 1 1

Ingesting an unknown amount of THC can be very painful and even dangerous. If there is too much THC, once it's inside your body the discomfort lasts for hours. On top of it, some people may be stupid enough to drink alcoholl while eating food containing cannabis. Smoking is safer as you can dose and scale what you smoke. As long as you dont get boozed at the same time. What are you smoking? It's not Cannabis, that's for sure! ???????????? So this is kind of the same thing now as I see it. IIlegal but tolerated. I am hoping you are right, but I'll let others smoke it openly and see what happens. I can still see it being a cash cow for the police, as you have to register thru some app to be growing it legally. If the cops see some plants growing and ask to see your registration it could become costly. Just saying that at any time, if they so desired, the cops could grab anybody because everything is over 0.2% THC
thwo
before legalization I paid 5000 on the road side for being positive in the middle of the night, so it should be cheaper now...
