orientfan
Hi, I am moving from a condo in BKK to a hotel in Pattaya at end of July. There's no furniture to move as the condo is furnished but I have a big TV, pictures, objects, glasses, cutlery etc. Does anyone know of a 'man with van' or different idea for moving my possessions from Bangkok to Pattaya? Many thanks for any useful info.

teelac777
I wouldn't. Even the ice acceptable for putting in drinks has a hollow center so it can be easily recognised

In answer to the OP I did a similar move a couple of years ago and used this company: https://www.deliveree.com/th/en/
DaLa
We run a business in Bangkok and regularly use a guy to bring/take stock to Jomtien. Reliable and reasonable . He only speaks Thai though so you will need someone to act as intermediary . PM me if you want further details

If you are served solid chunks of ice, which look like they’ve been made in trays, I’d push it aside.
dddave
This same question always gets a lot of response in the "Bangkok Expats" FB group. Have you checked with the juristic office of the condo you are currently in? They often will have a list of trucks and movers.

I just have no idea how it relates to the topic in question.

Peterw42
OP, if you haven't found anyone yet, try this guy. https://www.facebook.com/TruckMoveThailandService/ I have used him in pattaya but sure he would come to Bangkok, just add extra time. Great service, answers messages straight away.
Ainsley
A friend of mine did hire a 'man with van' but really regretted about it afterwards. There was only one guy. So he had to help him with heavy furniture. The guy dropped stuff without any care. Some things were damaged. So be very careful when choosing movers. And the erroneous answers. This thread is about removals not ice. Anyway the information is nonesense. Bad ice is not an issue here in Thailand.
