Provincial water supply authority prepares short and long term plans to improve water supply system in order to solve water shortage problem in Chonburi and Chachernsao province. In the short term, the authority will hire water producing system from private company for 3 –5 years and will propose to take on loan of 1,000 million baht bond for the long term plan.

Mr. Preecha U-Gratoke, Deputy director of provincial water supply, declared that the community in Chonburi and Chacherngsao province have been expanding rapidly and this causes water shortage problem.

Therefore, the authority has proposed the short term plan for 3 –5 years to hire the water producing system from private company which will need the budget of 108 million baht. But for the long term plan, the authority will need to take on loan of 1,000 million baht bond in the year 2008. Hopefully, the project would be able to complete within 6 months after the project was approved.
