  • Hat's off to the scientists who invented the vaccine.   Roll-out was quite well managed. But let's not forget Johnson's cavalier attitude towards Covid before his own brush with death.

The UK is divided as the people who live there no longer seem to be able to accept the result of democratic votes that do not go their way.   The Scots do not accept the result of the independence ref

  • Thanks for the hard work Boris. Great job on Brexit and the vaccine rollout.    Whose next? For me it has to Truss, Mogg or Raab. I'd like to see The Moggster get it. A true Conservative.

Are you on the pipe?

was listening to Truss speaking while she said she's very loyal to Boris  and keeps supporting him and his policies.... quite strange for somebody who wants to be PM to speak like that knowing the guy was fired because of his shxx policies, if she's so loyal to him that means she will be doing the same as he was, the question is why change, let's keep the loser/liar

An honest lady who was vehemently opposed to Brexit until the referendum. Clearly, she's a highly principled person.

After education and probably reading this forum, then watching the EU perform despicably, she has seen the error of her ways and become a Leaver. It’s always a woman’s prerogative to change her mind.
Now, why haven’t you guys done the same.

People who were up until last week were crowing in support of Johnson, went awfully quiet for a few days during his humiliating ouster by his own party.

Now back in force pretending that the events of the past week are nothing but good new for the Tories.

After 12 years of the Tories in power, the nation is in a shocking mess.

This is the reality that changing the PM will not fix.

Things started going bad in 1997 with Blair and New Liebour. The rot they left was slowed down by the Tories who had to impose years of austerity to get us back on an even keel. God knows how bad the mess would be without them.
The reality is that a change of PM won’t help the current situation and a change of government would only put us back in the mire of socialism.

12 years of Tory Government.

Nothing fixed, nothing improved, nothing getting better.

Really? It started with Labor? Actually, the decline accelerated starting in about 2010. Who won the election in 2010?

UK Families ‘Nearly £9,000 Worse Off’ Compared to Other Countries, Report Says

"The report reveals that UK pay growth has fallen below zero since the financial crisis and eight million young workers have never experienced a period of sustained rising real wages.

It says that the UK's productivity gap with France and Germany has almost tripled since 2008 from 6% to 16% - equivalent to an extra £3,700 in lost output per person.

The report shows that while the top 10% of households in Britain are richer than those in many other European countries, middle-income British households are woefully behind."

I am not interested in whether you are surprised or not. Just pointing out that your above statement is factually incorrect as usual.

Just for you then, up to 90% of UK folk have Smartphones, rich or poor, young or old...

Which means, they can buy them and pay the fee's....

PS. That includes Labour voters too....????

In 2020 87,6% of Malaysians had a smartphone. Does that mean that Malaysia is just about as developed a nation as is the UK? You think maybe it's a bit simplistic to rely on one statistic to characterize a nation's economy and the prosperity of its people?

To quote our nadine

Ms Dorries made the same claim on Monday, when she also criticised those who moved against Mr Johnson.

14 million people voted for the prime minister and a group of MPs, ministers, the chancellor, his sitting chancellor, via what is effectively a coup, removed him,” she told GB News.

How could someone so absolutely and brazenly clueless about the British electoral system, voting, parliamentary representation and her own party's internal leadership selection procedures have gotten into anyone's Cabinet?

Your last sentence is spot on but I think it's simply awesome the way you skipped around mentioning the single person who's responsible for the current political machinations and why the world is having a good old wheeze at our expense.

Well done.

Troll post has been reported and removed.

Mark Thomas hitting the nail on the head regarding Johnson.

Who do you think was that single person?

Who is Mark Thomas? Is he a real student, or some oik that was given a honorary doctorate from a second rate uni for some made up accolade?

Not one myself but was wondering what Brits think of Rishi Sunak who seems to be leading the race to be the next PM.

Not much probably but it's not about who the voters like is it?
