How true, total waste of time wiv socialists....????

What policies has RayC espoused that would qualify him as a socialist? I'm posting the definition of socialism below to make answering this easy for you.

What Is Socialism?

Socialism is a populist economic and political system based on collective, common, or public ownership of the means of production. Those means of production include the machinery, tools, and factories used to produce goods that aim to directly satisfy human needs. In contrast to capitalism, whereby business owners control the means of production and pay wages to workers to use those means, socialism envisions shared ownership and control among the laboring class.

Brexit is done, and we move on.

Except, for socialist remainers, that is.....????

A number of your fellow Brexiters e.g. TheHammer2021 seem to disagree with you.

Without wishing to put words into his mouth, I very much doubt that he would describe himself as a "Socialist Remainer".

Brexit has been done and it will take a few years for the benefits of Brexit to show .

The "bright future" of Brexit.

It reminds me of something....

In the meanwhile, his hedge fund blooms. What is the definition of those who seek to collapse the economy and currency to enrich themselves and their sidekicks? Oh yes, 'Treason' is the word.

You do understand that it’s not his money don’t you? Given your comment, maybe not.

Don’t they all? Listening to the Rejoiner howls on here makes me think I should put a few bob in his fund too.

So, on the one hand "it's not his money" was your original defense and now you've switched to don't they all. Contradicting yourself much?

And in the meantime, the country suffers from economic decline as a result.

What did you expect? The UK is no longer a member of the EU so why should it expect to be granted the same benefits as its' members?

Of course, the EU is protectionist by definition. It exists to protect the interests of its' members.

What do you mean by "extreme protectionism" (as opposed to 'normal' protectionism)?

Given that you are replying to my post, I assume that you consider me to be an "extremist, hardline remainer"? What differentiates me from a run of the mill remainer?

" ... a major benefit in itself..." is just an admission that there is no empirical evidence to support your position.

If only you hadn't added 'Brexit', we could have agreed on something.

Oh dear, will suffer, ask your mum about suffering from 1939 till mid 50's....You poor thing.............????

It's significant that you have to go that far back to make the current government look good. Was it in this thread that some claimed that Labour would be even worse? You right-wingers set a very low bar to defend this government.

Wrong once again, I have no political agenda, I just look at what's around and go from there. I am not one of those socialist nuts who dismiss ALL from other Party's.

"Make the government look good", if you don't like facts, that is your problem.

Just look at your Labour benches, I watched Corby the other night having a go at Boris's farewell, the bloke had a dirty jacket, un-ironed shirt and the cat tied his tie, then he spoke typical socialist rubbish.....????

So, it's just an amazing coincidence that all your comments and your emoji likes and dislikes follow a right wing line? Laughable.

Now come on, surely you can understand that I think the Labour Party is a complete mess of buffoons, them controlling the UK would be a disaster......................????

Well, I do understand how you think. And as not just your comments but your likes and dislike emojis show in topics other than UK politics, you lean hard right.

Can you identify a tangible benefit that Brexit has delivered?

Congratulations. Just when I think that you may have reached a floor when it comes to ridiculous comments, you keep surprising me by offering something even more absurd.

Taking your comment at face "value", if someone of the WW2 generation complains, perhaps they should be told to pull their socks up; those around at the time of the 'Black Death' had it harder?

The relative plight of different generations is tangential. The actions of the government of the day are meant to improve the welfare of its' citizens. They should be judged on their time in office. There is no evidence (to date) to suggest that things will have improved during this government's tenure.

Nothing changes from your socialist camp, first thing to do is write a para to put a poster down, then the next para is trying to work around what has been written. In your case, guff.

Perhaps someone like you doesn't understand if there have been any improvements to the country, you just look at if your life has improved.

As you seem to know there have been no improvements in the  UK, then you provide a competent link stating the facts, and not socialist guff.

You can leave out Brexit, the Gov is trying to deal with the UK populace vote to leave the EU, which even a Labour Party would have had to deal with.

Go for it...????

How did I work around anything? I took your comment at face value and made a counter argument.

Some examples of these improvements would help.

Fortunately, my life is pretty good (and has been for the best part of my existence).

You are the one claiming there have been improvements, you supply the list.

We are discussing Brexit related issues. Look back over the various threads and you will see examples of the numerous problems that this has caused. One generic example being the problem of implementing the Irish Protocol.

What the hell does "socialist guff" mean?

If you want to have a discussion about the relative merits (and disadvantages) of free market capitalism and centrally planned ("socialist") economies, start another thread and I'll willingly contribute.

Uncle, Aunt, testicles.

Btw: I have no affiliation to the Labour Party
