The story had to originate with the girl, right? She told her mother about the rape and the story developed from there. That's what I meant by you torturing the facts ad being pedantic.

The story is that Jim Jordan is morally bankrupt as he did not acknowledge his false claim after he deleted his tweet and because the story is true that means the GOP is the party of government-mandated pregnancies for little girls.

We know Jordan’s comments were well out of order, events have proven his comments to be wrong and his removal of his comments without apology are a window into his moral bankruptcy.

 

We know Jordan cannot defend any of this.

 

What we don’t know is why others choose to defend him.

 

The basis of his comments were blind ignorance and a callous disregard for the suffering of a child victim of rape.

 

There is absolutely nothing about this sad apology for a man worth defending.

Even when I went back to see if he actually HAD attributed this as a quote when I didn't remember that he had.......... I didn't recognize it as a link. It just looked like an underlined sentence. It was only as an afterthought that I said to myself, "Hmmm, I wonder......." (And only because he had said something about it being a quote a couple of times, in later posts.)
