In the wake of a double drowning at Koh Chang involving a Spanish woman and a French man, a British man and a Thai tourist have now been reported as drowning at a Phuket beach.

Wealthy rapist shot TWENTY times by Suphan police in shootout at Ayutthaya gas station

Bangkok governor takes an inspection trip on a garbage truck

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt made a surprise visit to the On Nut garbage disposal facility late last night (Thursday) to watch how garbage collectors do their jobs. He also took a ride on one of their collection trucks.

Minister Jurin checks price of bottled palm oil, says further decline likely

BANGKOK (NNT) - The price of palm fruit has been falling and this is being reflected in the prices of bottled palm oil in the market. The price of a bottle has dropped by 5-6 baht and the commerce minister believes further reductions will be seen.

Fourth Army Region commander injured in helicopter crash-landing

Fourth Army Region commander, Lt-Gen Kriangkrai Srirak, and five other people were injured when the army Blackhawk helicopter in which they were travelling crash-landed in a rubber plantation in the Thepa district of Thailand’s southern province of Songkhla this morning (Friday).
