Liverpool vs Man Utd "seats" going for 100K! But someone got in there first!

The Liverpool vis Manchester Utd Century Cup friendly match that was played at the Rajamangala national stadium last week was plagued with problems from start to finish.

 

Now, even after United despatched Liverpool 4-0 on Tuesday the controversies continue.

 

Organizers were planning on selling the fancy seats used by the players and staff of both teams to make more money, reported Thai Rath.

 

The asking price was going to be 100,000 baht each for where Mo Salah's bottom might have rested. 

 

Instead a naughty man and woman arrived with a Toyotal pick-up on Friday and carter off four of the seats.

 

They were caught on CCTV and this soon led to the man who blamed the woman for hiring him to take the seats to a condominium.

 

She then got him to do some more legitimate removals.

 

Hua Mark police had been informed of the theft on Saturday by organizer Winit Lertrattanachai who filed a complaint.

 

Now an unnamed man and woman are helping them with their inquiries.

Only in Thailand can seats be removed from a stadium for personal gain. In the US they sell the old stadium seats to raise capital fir new ones, they do not sell them because some supposedly famous superstar sat in it.....

These days fools will buy anything if it has a logo or is part of something they like.  Look at what people pay for uniforms that someone signed.  or this new NFT where I can buy a virtual signed Jersey that Gretzky wore when he played in the 7th game or a pair of shoe laces that Jordan had in his sports bag.

You would think given how much they would have been able to sell them for it would be more like "...Cartier off four of the seats.". I have not been able to hear the word naughty without thinking...
