It's over 120 days now, which is their limit seemingly. But thanks, I'll try to contact VISA.

I am sure VISA will have all the information required to track the transfer. If you ask them nicely, as I am sure you will, they should give you a copy of the transfer. After that you can take it up with the bank.

Eventually got the transaction number from BA, what a palaver! 

The bank are looking again. 

Got an email today asking me to call BA. 

They have asked me to give a new credit card number as the payment bounced. 

 

Strange how it can bounce after 7 months! 

 

Hopefully the whole issue will end soon. 

 

One question -  does anyone know if it is better to give my account number or just the card number on my KrungThai card?

I doubt that the card number will be sufficient to get the money to your account

Give them both, but don't give them the PIN number.
