An alleged online gambling website operator was arrested in the Aranyaprathet district of Sa Kaeo province on Monday, August 1st, with a reported money turnover of about 5 million baht per month.

The raid followed a tip-off indicating that a house in the Baan Mai Nong Sai subdistrict was operating an online gambling and lottery website. There, Thai national Nattapon or Pae, 37, presented himself to the officials, claiming that he was the house owner.

Upon the search of Pae’s bedroom, traces of running an online gambling website called ‘syclub.bet’ with evidence of lottery betting via electronic channels were found.
