Is there a COVID prevention nasal spray available in Bangkok

Featured Replies

A Thai friend has resperatory problems and is fearful o f vaccine side effects.

Any info is appreciated

Thanks

well, there might be sometimes vax in form of nasal spray.

Otherwise cetylpyridinium chloride, which might work for covid.

Lozenges under name cepacol original are not available anymore.

There is mouthwash containing it, imported from japan, not cheap.

Or make your own mouth spray (possibly also nasal spray) from a pure substance (some cosmetic company selling it online n bangkok)

I am aware of several sprays that are either awaiting accreditation and also some in production including Chula hosp/uni, so was hoping for a spray that was not too complicated to get hold of

If your friend has respiratory problems I would suggest all the more reason to get vaccinated.

I understand current available vaccinations usually have little adverse effects for most  respiratory issues.

Tell him to consult a health professional for advice.

Hold your breath for 1 hour and you will never catch Covid

Have you tried telling a Thai women to stop breathing while she is talking? Not very helpful
