Sedan was going down the hill. Not a big hill but enough to gain some speed. Bus was going direction chalong up the hill.

I don't know if this accident was caused by one of the vehicles taking a shortcut by cutting across the lines in the middle of the road. This is a very common practice on Kata Hill.

Many parts of Patak road now have posts or even a wall in the middle of the road. I've never understood why parts Kata Hill were left without.

Hopefully dashcam footage will be available in order to determine who cut which corner. The truth is easily lost or swept aside when one driver is dead. It isn't hard to see some pretty poor driving practices on that hill, especially if it's raining or dark.

The miracles of modern cars that 4 people escaped alive from that sedan.

Considering they are made of thin sheet material and plastic, one wonders what would happen if the cab capsule doesn't hold-up to the stresses and impact of an accident.

Just wonder how quick one have to drive to create such carnage.

Not fast considering most modern vehicles are 50% plastic trim..
