Sqoop
I'm in pattaya, I've got a laptop that just died. I want to extract the hdd and try to connect it via USB to another machine for data recovery. I wondered whether anyone can suggest where I can purchase such a cable in pattaya ? Popular Post Confuscious
Most IT-shops sell USB to external disk cables. If not, simply ask for an external disk housing. Lazada sells external disk housing and cables and delivery is very fast. 2
Bruno123
If it's a laptop, then it's 2.5" SATA caddy or cable. Example: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/orico-25-inch-hdd-case-sata-to-usb-30-hdd-enclosure-external-hd-case-for-7-95mm-hdd-ssd-disk-case-hard-drive-box-support-uasp-i1943170051-s10864233296.html If you don't want to order online, try Tukcom. userabcd
This should also work if it is a 2.5" harddisk. Usually no extra power needed. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/25-22p-20-usb-to-sata-cable-serial-ata-adapter-for-hddssd-laptop-hard-drive-i306662123.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.7.5ca14595aX2K33 or with power https://www.lazada.co.th/products/usb-30-to-sata-cable-with-25-inch-hdd-support-up-to-4tb-speed-free-adapter-12v-2a-i374714669.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.19.43774595WP1IS7 Edited August 14, 2022 by userabcd

I bumped into a farang in Banana at Central who overheard the staff telling me they didn't have what i wanted. he offered to give me a ride to some magic place where everything was allegedly available. I had to make him repeat the name twice before I clicked that he was talking about Tukcom. he was pronouncing it as "dah calm" ???? I guess he never bothered to looks at the great big sign on top of the building.
