Does anyone use the Nationwide UK bank in Thailand?

It could be an automated process where the whole process is done automatically .

   I will go into a NW branch today and ask them whether they allow it 

Maybe they are as bad as Thai banks with different banks having different rules.

Doubtful....if they know you are living here they will close the account
