According to a report from the Washington Post, prospects that Donald Trump's Truth Social will survive are growing bleak with the company that had planned to take the social media platform public now suggesting that a probable bankruptcy is on the horizon.

 

As the report points out, Truth Social has not been paying for web-hosting fees to the point where attorneys are now involved, traffic is collapsing, the value of stock in the company is plunging and money is running out.

 

With the Post reporting, "Former president Donald Trump's Truth Social website is facing financial challenges as its traffic remains puny and the company that is scheduled to acquire it expresses fear that his legal troubles could lead to a decline in his popularity," WaPo's Drew Harwell wrote that the former president's legal problems have added another cloud of Truth Social's future.

In a new post on his Truth Social platform, Trump seemingly reacted to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's revelations that the FBI asked his company to watch out for Russian disinformation being spread on his platform, which led to the company limiting the reach of a New York Post story about the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop in the fall of 2020.

 

"So now it comes out, conclusively, that the FBI BURIED THE HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY BEFORE THE ELECTION knowing that, if they didn’t, “Trump would have easily won the 2020 Presidential Election.'"

 

In fact, the FBI never instructed Facebook to limit the reach of the story -- rather, the decision to do so was made internally by Facebook on suspicions that it was a Russian disinformation operation intended to sway the election.

Those 3 right wing networks are not in good shape either. DirectTV will drop OAN and will financially cripple them. Fox has a $1.6b lawsuit with Dominion. Newsmax is falling off the cliff with massive lost of subscribers. More dying from Trump's touch.

Since it’s inception, Truth Social has been an unmitigated disaster. In addition to all the legal and financial problems, they still don’t have working DMs and notifications, engagement sucks, and the vast majority of GOP elected officials aren’t even on there.
