TM30 fine?

I thought that Immigration has got rid of this rule a couple of years ago. I am due for an extension of stay in a few months, will I get fine for this? I have not done any reports ever since, after I traveled.

If you entered with re-entry permit a TM30 report is not required after entering the country.

I have seen people fined 800 baht for no TM30 at Jomtien,  I was behind them waiting my turn.

They were applying for a 30 day extension and needed to pay the fine to get it, or they could just forget the extension and no fine. They chose the fine

I just got a 30 day extension in Bangkok today and there was no mention of a TM30. My condo address was on the form not a hotel so I was a bit worried they might ask for it. All I needed was a filled out form with recent photo, and an ORIGINAL SIZE photocopy of my passport photo pages and visa/entry stamp pages. Also had to fill out a couple of statutory declaration style forms saying I knew the penalties for overstaying, etc.

If a tourist visa or visa exempt entry many offices will want proof a TM30 report was done.

I just got a 30 day extension on a 6 month METV in Bangkok today and there was no mention of a TM30. My condo address was on the form not a hotel so I was a bit worried they might ask for it.
