Hi all,

As I mentioned in my previous post, my gf has an interview at the embassy next month, however the interview letter says N/A in the documents required sectiion.

If they do not need any documents, does this mean that they are satisfied with the evidence that we have provided? If so, I am assuming this is a good position to be in.

What will be the objective of the Interview in this case?

Thanks in advance for all your advice.

Eamon,

Without having had sight of the papers, it's impossible to say for sure why the embassy wants to interview your g/f. However, it could be either to address a perceived inconsistency in the supporting documentation, or to establish the strength and depth of your relationship.

Scouse.

I guess we will just have to go to the interview with all our bases covered.

We had same with my Boyfriend. At interview he was asked about our relationship and who when where meetings etc using the photos and letters as base for questions. He then checked about Money in hand for trip and holiday purpose, where stay etc. double questioning about working in UK...NO not allowed. IN and OUT in 12 minutes. Visa given about 20 mins after that.
