Thailand's Anti-Fake News Center dismissed a popular rumor doing the rounds of the internet as untrue.

This referred to the country facing four storms and getting prepared to batten down the hatches.

This was not correct but the word coming from the met office still painted a turbulent few days for much of the country from Sept 14-15.

Wind and monsoonal rains are expected and high seas will keep smaller vessels in harbor.
