BBC Faces Backlash Over Alleged Bias in Coverage of White Farmer Killings in South Africa
Time to move on dude. All ancient history. Or perhaps everybody should move back to their respective home countries. In the long run, wonder how that would work out for third world places with no input from more advanced peoples… Of the bbc, they do tend to bias on things of this nature. It’s got to be spot on though, with sources ‘n such properly verified or it’s just hearsay and discredits itself. But, yes, they are no longer down the middle. Still churn out cracking docos and period drama. -

Have you been on a luxury cruise?
Spouse and I are doing a Celebrity cruise in November--a reunion with my 4 sisters and a couple of cousins, with two of my sisters having November birthdays. We have never been on a cruise so we'll see how we like it but it should be fun as its been several years since we all got together. Cruise is from Barcelona and makes some stops in Spain, France, and Italy. -

Greenland signs juicy deal with Europe in a blow to Trump
Your points were refuted in detail. Are you denial? Your response is infantile and rather stupid. Facts were provided. If you disagree, then state what was factually incorrect. In typical MAGA fashion, when confronted with the truth you fall back to false accusations and the denial of reality. Wrong. The Canadian mining sector has a relatively large footprint in Greenland. Much of the mining activity to date has been prospecting and identifying potential mineral resources. The Canadian Gold mining company Amaroq Minerals Ltd. has multiple mine licenses and has been trying to identify and locate the key valuable mineral deposits, Brunswick is another Canadian prospector looking for lithium. Lumina Sustainable Materials is the Greenland/Danish entity that operates the massive anorthosite mine. Canadian based Neo Performance Minerals has been hunting for rare earth metals for some time. The new mining investment was in progress long before Trump made his ignorant statements. The new activity required public hearings and an environmental assessment before the license could be approved. These investments do not occur overnight. The mining activity and prospecting is public knowledge. The heavy presence of Canadian firms reflects the Canadian expertise in far north resource development and the shared culture of Canada's far north Inuit people and their brothers and sisters in Greenland. The Canadians by their own experience with the Inuit and resource development on native lands have learnt how to work with the local people, to build a consensus and to be respectful of local culture. This is something Trump followers don't get. They threaten to march in and steal what is not theirs and then they wonder why the locals don't want to deal with the USA.
