2000 Honda Varadero Xl1000v

Featured Replies

I just bought it 2 weeks ago to tour Thailand on with my GF. We rode it from BKK to CM and she did not enjoy it, so I am ordering a new BMW 650 from Barcelona motors for solo riding. The bike has 83,000 Km's, a full set of locking and removable Givi (Italian) luggage, crash bars, tires are nearly new, chain and sprockets are in good shape. No real damage, scratches or dents. It is a great bike and rides smooth, is fast as any sportbike and soaks up the rough Thailand roads easily. It is a 2000 Model with ALL documentation, green book, insurance and tax paid through March of 2008.I want 305 K Bt for it. Look around. The cheapest one I found was 320 K without a green book from Teera cycles in BKK. The bike is in CM and my friend has the keys. If you want to see it up close, let me know, I will arrange it.

Keep the Varadero & forget the F650!

Price reduction Bt 250,000

I will say the same, keep the Honda and forget about the BMW, I like a off-roader they are great to drive up country where I live, the problem is that they are not very pretty, compared to a sports-bike or any chopper, they are however the sensible bike to drive in Thailand. I have one Suzuki GSX1000R at the moment, if I dident have to expand the farm, then I would be interested. :o
