Even though both are equally lethal.

Yes that was the point I was making and which could have explained a little to the person complaining about the not so perfect attitude that he claimed many on here had about the USA.

  • Shame on Thailand for sucking up to another illegal junta. I understand that the young lady has sought asylum in Thailand with the UNHCR. Stop a hero but cannot find Boss. Double shame.

  • Thailand may have done her a favour... she's better off in Vietnam. Claim her asylum over there and stuff Thailand who have the same mindset as Myanmar generals.

  • Ignore it. Myanmar’s government is not a legitimate one and nothing it does should be considered valid under international law.

Very beautiful girl , I hope she’s accepted by Canada. Good place to start over and they welcome immigrants.

Reading the story she should have stayed in vietnam, now she is arrested in thailand and probadly going back to burma/myanmar.

Whilst reading the thread will tell you she’s off to Canada.

Thailand could have given her a place to stay in the country while her request for asylum is heard

It said she would be returned from whence she came, and that was Vietnam. Although it is usually on the same carrier/plane quite quickly.

Anyhow see this

I thought she had been acceptrd as.a refugee by the Canadian government?

How s that fit on into the story.
