June 26, 200718 yr If standing outside, and facing, the main passenger terminal building on level 1, then look to the far right for the food court. It's bright green in this map.
July 1, 200718 yr Thanks - that map is perfect LOL.......Map perfect....... At 1st it was confusing. For a regular user of : "THE MAGIC FOOD POINT"........ the name of the restaurant. The map is not too bad. Easiest way I tell ppl, it is adjacent to bus departure Gate 8, bottom floor level. Big sign over the door. I head there as soon as I land in BKK. Grab a paper and go eat. Food is great, so CHEAP, huge turnover, sooo fresh. Happy eating folks Kwiw Pete

Hey, Farangs eat Thai food, too, and it's nice to compare the cost to what's available up at the "fancy" resturant on the top floor for basically the same item!! Singha cheaper, too! Mac
July 18, 200718 yr Can someone explain how to find this food center at Suvanapoom thanks It's good food and a great deal...regular food-court prices that services mostly airline and airport employees...and the occasional lucky/thrifty/smart traveler! It's a coupon food-court with many Thai food options, just like the shopping center ones. I suggest eating farang-food when you land back in Farangland (but I did notice the tongue-waggle). Enjoy! Non-map directions: Take an elevator near the airport entrances down to Level 1, but the closest elevator from the Departures level (4) is nearest Rows R/S. The entrance is close to where they sell tickets (on the inside) for the Airport Express buses (on the inside) and embark those (on the outside). You can enter the food court from inside the airport, or they have an outside entrance, but you have to leave trolleys outside.
October 4, 200718 yr ....its cheap but theres not much choice for farangs Plenty to eat there, not spicy, outlets quite happy to increase meal sizes - just pay a bit more. I tried to spend 200 Baht of loose change when I was waiting three hours for someone last month, I just managed to spend 95 Baht and that was with having two lots of fruit desert !

October 5, 200718 yr And hot coffee. Cheap hot coffee in the right hand corner. Every bit as good as the rip off shops upstairs. Wonderful!!
October 15, 200718 yr On my last trip called in there for something to eat whilst waiting to depart.... excellent value for money.
October 15, 200718 yr I had rather enjoy the food court at the airport. There are 2 of them as far as I remembered. good food at good price. The only things is seating and the line for the coupons, if your going during lunch breaks they seem to be extermly long. I would find a seat first.
October 15, 200718 yr .....yeah great choice of Thai food,I even had a porter look after our baggage ,......but I think we should close this thread otherwise it will become too popular and the airport staff will have to queue for their lunch!.....the previous airport had same,......my wife would sprint there when arriving home!

Final word from me. It is agreat deal, sooooo cheap. It is great variety. I agree, it must NOT become too popular. If farangs complain about it being all Thai food...... phooooey to them. I go to Thailand for Thai food, not to eat farang tukka. I love the Magic Food Point. Kiwi Pete
