I’m looking to get the first 3 month extension on an education visa in Phuket next week. 
 

The school’s dedicated immigration person wants to meet me at immigration to assist and has said the fee is THB5,000 which I questioned but was told that was the fee for this type of visa extension. 
 

Should it be THB1,900 as if so quite happy handing over the documents by myself and saving a few baht.

The 5000 baht probably includes a fee for the agent going with you or a kick back for immigration.

The normal fee for a extension is 1900 baht.
