Nancy Pelosi's husband 'violently assaulted' at San Francisco home, suspect in custody

Not a conspiracy. Just an observation based on the photo. When you break glass from the outside, it falls away from you into the building. It doesn't fly back at you. Likewise, it is difficult for a large male to fit through a gap in broken glass that small without getting significant lacerations.

If the doors had been opened, the glass would have fallen in the arc where the door swings open. Not around a meter directly out, and even in front of the adjacent door, opposite to the direction that the door opens and that doesn't have broken glass. That glass looks like it has been smashed from the inside.

Anyway, I'm sure the CCTV, bodycam footage and a thorough investigation will clear all this up.

You’ve been watching too much CSI Miami.

Leave it to the FBI (oh no you can’t do that because your Hunter Biden conspiracy thing gets in the way).

The truth of what happened during the attack on Paul Pelosi will come out in the trial of his assailant.

If you have any useful information for his defense get in touch with his attorneys, I quite certain they’ll be delighted to hear from you. ( Don’t forget to send them links).

I have no interest in him being found Guilty or Not Guilty. I only wish for the truth to come out in a timely manner, with no cover ups and political interference.

There is nothing to milk. He was caught on the premises attacking Paul Pelosi.

Do ALL homeless nutjob mentally ill guys from Canada do that?

A very weak attempt attempt at diversion.

0 out of 10.

Thank you for proving my point. All the rest is just the usual spin from the left.

Paul Pelosi isn’t accused of any crime here, he’s the victim of a violent assault in his own home.

Or did you miss that bit?

So when the perp said Where's Nancy like the violent insurrectionists on January 6th, he wanted to invite her for tea?

Weird how so much glass was on the outside even though he allegedly broke IN. Normally glass goes into the house on such occasions.

Not sure how he'd fit through that hole either. Certainly not without ripping himself to shreds on broken glass.

Also, weird is the total lack of security for such a high profile figure.

Anyway, with the FBI working on this I'm sure all the details will come out 100% truthfully.

Whatever really happened, hopefully Pelosi makes a full recovery.

Looks like laminated safety glass. If so, some would fall outside and there would be no large shards of glass to cause injury. Similar to car windscreen glass.

No victim blaming here, what happened was wrong in every way.

But I can assure you I would be much better protected inside my castle than Pelosi. I couldn't fathom have large unprotected glass doors. I'd be having special steel framed glass doors with decorative framing through out the house. As trouble at the Pelosi residence has been a problem in the past.

So as more on this story develops it appears the assailant had a list of others he was planning on attacking as well.

Suspect in Paul Pelosi attack had list of targets, law enforcement sources say (msn.com)

David Wayne DePape, the man accused of beating Paul Pelosi with a hammer inside his San Francisco home overnight on Friday, may have been planning to attack more people, the sources said.

They have not gone so far as to call the list a "hit list," but authorities believe the suspect may have been planning to target others, the sources said.

Motivation for criminal acts from his twisted desire for political revenge. Motive established.

Hmmm....it seems that there is one extremely prominent Republican who hasn't condemned the attack. Can't think of that person's name at the moment. You got any idea who that might be?

That is where it gets confusing .

You begin by stating that he "had" a list of others that he was planning to attack as well and you end up saying he " may" have been planning to attack others .

You went from a definite yes to a maybe

No wonder you have such a hard time on some of these OP's, you fail to read the articles linked or do any research.

Yes, I did read the article and the article contradicts itself .

I began reading the article and it stated he had a hit list of other people he was going to kill  and when I got to the end of the article , they had changed their stance to he may have been intending to kill other people...

So he Had a list of others he was going to attack, and may have intended to kill them.....your own words in your post tell it as I posted.  He DID have a list of others.....not may have had a list and may have been planning to attack them.....oh the Irony.

It was claimed that he had a list , but they don't know whether he was intending to attack them or not

Can you not see the contradiction in the above two sentences?

The former is stating a definite yes and the latter is stating a maybe

Right wing sources have been suggesting a sex-for-hire situation gone wrong, and even some posters here have pushed the 'who was the other person in the house?' deflection.  Seems we can put these to bed now:

Fellow travelers don't like the reality, so no worries, create alternative ones. So predictable.

The future of democracy is very bleak with every news story being intentionally and maliciously twisted this way.

Don’t forget to add a safe room, a couple of Doberman pincers, a few trip wires and a large collection of firearms unlocked dotted around the house. Super right?

Absolutely.  The holidays are coming, a smart guy will get the xmas and Hanukkah cards out before the holiday rush.

I wonder which conspiracy theory our MAGA posters (or assimilated) will be able to evoke now? ????

DePape also later explained that by breaking Nancy’s kneecaps, she would then have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other members of Congress there were consequences to actions,” read the filing.

After Paul Pelosi called 911, DePape allegedly said he did not leave “because, much like the American Founding Fathers with the British, he was fighting against tyranny without the option of surrender.” Police claim he reiterated this sentiment elsewhere in the interview."
