No Water!

Featured Replies

Our neighbourhood has no water. Thankfully, I have a tank in the back that should at least give us a shower. However; nobody knows who to call. Does anyone have a number? Is this problem only our area? (Mae Jo road)

Here you go:

Ok seriously, it depends on where your water is normally coming from. If you have city-water then there's a number to call, but if you're far up the Mae Jo road then more likely the water comes from the compound/development supply, so then you would contact them.

Very informative CC. :o

Thanks!

Usually the Mrs takes care of that sort of stuff (disasters large & small) so while I'm not intimately acquainted with the solution from a first person perspective, I do know roughly the direction to bark in.

I'm on the Mae Joe road and have water. Our whole village has water. Guess our area is different because almost for sure at least one person in every house knows where their water comes from. Good luck.

Well I don't know about Chiang Mai but up in the 'Rai prayer is an effective way as any for getting the water back on.

Why does it always go off just as I'm planning a long tub and an early night with the Mrs? :o

Thanks for the replies... esp Chanchao :o

Water came on in mid-afternoon. Someone around here figured out who to call.

Surely you get a water bill, upon which would be the agency suppling the water, if no telephone number, have a Thai speaker call information for the number.
