webfact Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Picture: Thai Rath Thai Rath reported on the arrest of a man who robbed a gold shop in Pathum Thani, north of the Thai capital Bangkok, who was wearing a white singlet and yellow flip flops. He threatened female staffers with a knife then fled on a white and pink Honda Wave with 29 gold necklaces worth 870,000 baht. Isaret Jitsing was captured just five hours later yesterday at his wife's house in Soi Mitmaitree 3 in Bangkok. He had already pawned off 6 of the necklaces to pay his debts and the other 23 were recovered along with his clothes and the bike. Khukhot police chief Pol Col Manaswet Thong-im said the arrest was completed with the help of the Pathum Thani provincial police and Region 1 cops. The suspect had cased the Aurora shop in Sawai Pracharat Klong 4 Road noting that it was staffed by just two females. He took the plates off his motorcycle before the robbery then put them back on after.
