Only if you let it and don't view it in the context of the enjoyable lifestyle/holiday you can have here. There's nothing wrong with making first time visitors aware of potential safety hazards but I wouldn't put any of the things you mention near the top of the list, traffic related incidents would be number one.

Has anybody noticed the tourist spots in Phuket and Samui getting much busier? Flight prices are not dropping below £1000 for direct from UK so would be surprised if this December is busier than last year

Doubt that will be a problem much longer. If new anti-sex law passed Bali will be in a death spiral pretty quickly.

Surely it should be with all the pandemic restrictions behind us and flights being more readily available.....I think considering just the UK may be the error.
