Passport and Visa for a Philippina

How long does it take for a single Philippina woman (living in the Philippines) to get a passport and a Visa (Schengen) and what will the costs be.

The Philippina works currently as a nurse in a hospital.

 

Is the process quicker/cheaper if the same Philipina is married and will apply for a "spouse" visa?

Plenty of tutorial on how to do this in Tagalog on youtube. Your friend should watch a few as requirements change.
