Thai Rath reported action by the police and related authorities in Kannayao district of northern Bangkok.

Earlier the Japanese embassy had received word that a Japanese man called Yuki.O. had been held against his will at a house in Soi 1 of the Lert Ubon housing estate in Bang Khen.

He managed to escape telling his embassy that he had been conned into working there and wanted out.

Police and embassy staff went to the address and arrested five Japanese running a call center.

Their surnames were Kawabata, Hirota, Naramura, Tomonari and Suzuki.

They have all been charged with illegal detention while investigations continue into their other alleged crimes and their backers.

Computer and phone equipment was seized along with a list of names.

Yup.

A Yammy two stroke  RD350 and a Kawi GPZ750 got away.

Not sure where the Suzi 750 triple stroke ended up. Maybe a radiator leak.

When bikes were bikes.????????
