webfact
Picture: Sanook Sanook reported from the village of Ban Ton Noi in Na Kha sub-district of Udon Thani where an old man spent a chilly night in mud after having a seizure. Relatives had contacted the Phu Yai Ban for help after Khamjan or Ta Jan went missing. He'd been out cutting grass on Tuesday but by Wednesday morning he still hadn't returned home. A search was mounted all morning amid fears he might have been attacked and left for dead. It was a cold night with temperatures of 18C. Picture: Sanook As the search party prepared to take lunch someone shouted they had found the old man covered in mud in a mud pool. He was still alive. Rescue services cleaned him up and gave him warm clothes to wear before taking him to the UdonThani medical center for a check-up. He had suffered constricted blood vessels in the brain and passed out in the mud. His daughter Buajan said her father was on his third wife, aged about 70, and was still active making a living by cutting and selling grass and hay. Picture: Sanook He is often seen in the area on his bicycle. The family plan to be a little more careful of the old man after this incident that occurred 500 meters from a shack in his field that is 4 kilometers from the village. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-12-15 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m.
