empathy  !     do thais even know the word?   I suspect the US, Australia, Canada and others won't look very favorably at this water cannon welcome,  and hopefully it will affect future trade dealings.  They can certainly forget the F-35 approval after this insidious performance.     imo

In my experience Russian tourists live up to the stereotype of rude, pushy (physically pushy in queues, crowded shops etc.) and nasty tempered.

But as has been observed their money spends just like anyone's.
