Just went back to the homeland and landed at Toronto's new terminal 3. After the marathon walk to customs/baggage couldn't find my way out (no not drunk either); looking for pre-booked vans to go to. No signs, nothing. Nobody to ask where to go or anything (finally found it on floor G; all other floors have numbers).

Checked in to come back here and it was a freaking disaster (don't know if it was the airport or the beloved United Airlines (both probably). Took over 2 hours to move 30 feet :o

Back to suwants to boom boom; quick customs, baqggage waiting; into a taxi and home in less than an hour.

I'll never complain about this airport again (well could use some more smoking rooms and a bit more air con).

I find this mockery to be insulting and in a very poor taste.

The airport name was chosen by H.M. The King.

Dipshit. :o

Looks like he found something that he just thought was incredibly clever and had to make a topic about it to show everyone. By the lack of replies I'd say you aren't the only one who thought it looked stupid.

I think it could be a tad confusing, imho he means the airport here is better than the one in Canada? Was the name of the airport in Toronto or where ever chosen by 'H.M The King?

Elsie, reveal yrself. :o

I believe she was referring to the silly topic and the wording applied to Suvarnabhumi, not the review of the airports.

Sheesh; I got this nickname from a previous post in Thai Visa; everyone thought it was clever.

Yes; this airport is much better than the one in Toronto.

Some people need to take a chill pill

Some people need to learn more about Thailand. :o

It may seem to be clever to ignorant foreigners. But to Thais and quite a few foreigners who know better, it is offensive.

All my Thai friends (hi so; low so and all in between) laugh like crazy at that name and think its cute and tell all their friends.

Like I said.............sheesh. :o
