webfact Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Picture Thailand's tech police announced the arrest of three people and the seizure of 30 million baht's worth of e-cigarettes and vaping fluid from a warehouse in Saraburi, reported Thai Rath. Three arrests were made of individuals in a Thai-Malaysian gang importing the merchandise into Thailand and selling in shops and cafes. Police have been actively going after distributors and dealers since November and had earlier raided two shops in Nonthaburi. The arrest of a man called Seri, 29, a small scale dealer in e-cigarettes led to the bigger bust. Phon, 28, and Wiradech 35 - an owner and manager at the Saraburi facilty - were taken into custody. Phon admitted to being involved in the business for a year. The import and sale of e-cigarettes and associated products is illegal in Thailand. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-01-24 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. ThomasThBKK Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 (edited) lol as if that small truck with disposable ecigd is worth a million usd as they claim. Also as if there's not more pressing issues at the thai malay border region... all this pseudo crimes and small scale criminals could be made irrelevant by simply legalizing and taxing vaping...
