Report New Cannabis Regulation: Prescription Required for Sales
Seriously? You expect people, like foregn tourists with no knowledge of Thai, to ring up the police and that the local plod will rush on over to deal with a jerk who doesn't know basic courtesy? Many things are illegal in Thailand. Like operating a motorbike without a helmet or in soliciting for prostitution and yet it is widespread. The restaurant owners have tried, and it is an exercise in frustration with some of the shops that are linked to local gangsters. Customers just don't come back or leave. You think Hua Hin or any other Thai municipality has actual planning? The shops are already open and thankfully some have already closed for lack of business. The fact is that the new regulatory regime will address the issues described. The cannabis industry refused to self regulate, and this is the result. There is an assumption that cannabis is far more important than it is. -

Changing Return Flight.
That's great if you want to be tied to one airline. I use the travel sites to compare fares and schedules of multiple airlines. Travel agencies and airfare aggregator websites can't shunt you onto another carrier free of charge. You either fly both legs with the same airline or, you use a code share or alliance partner airline... and it will still cost more to change your mind. -
